What is your favorite round to reload for and why? When I can get my equipment set up in a place with more room I'll have to buy more dies for all the calibers I have, but I think my #1 favorite will always be the .30-06.
Now before Neil throws the tomatoes at me, {Insert LMAO here} I'll explain why I love this old round so much.
First, It is the number one most reloaded NON Magnum round in the US. And second, the bullet selection for this round really made it shine over many, many years. Third, Look at the military track record it has. And #4 it is recognized world wide even in Africa as a viable round for hunting decent sized game.
Eventually, I plan on getting ALL RCBS dies to fit my Redding single stage BOSS press. I plan to reload for .30-06 Springfield / .30-06 M-2 Ball, .303 British, 7.62x54Rmm, .44 Magnum, .45 ACP, 6.5x55mm, .30 Carbine etc. .

I have to say my favorite round to reload is 6.5x55 Swede. And the reason for this is that it's big enough to take any game on the North American continent with mild recoil and its nearly laser beam accurate in any rifle you want to put it through..

308, all the way for me. 155 gr VLD HPBTs in front of 46 grains of Varget - smoking out to 1000 yards. Here's 200 yards prone with open sights. My first clean target, a 100 point 7x. Of course -06, 8x57, 7x57, 243, 257 Roberts, 8mm-06, 30 carbine, 45 ACP, and 44 Mag, are fun to reload for too.
