I've seen a lot of battered, broken and bent trigger and sear pins for '93, 94, 95, 96, 98 Mausers including the German, Swedes, Turks, Czechs, Persians, South Americans, Spanish, and Polish. Instead of going to a gun supply and paying $5 or so plus shipping for one used pin, head down to an industrial hardware store. In Southern California, McFaddendale Hardware stores are everywhere - or go to McMaster Carr online. For about the same as you'd pay a gun parts dealer, you can get a pack of 100 dowel pins. The size is 3mm dia x 12 mm long and the hardened steel pins are the correct replacements and will fit both the trigger and sear pin locations. The McMaster Carr part no is 91595A112 here: www.mcmaster.com/#91595a112/=1eemq4

Again great stuff there Jeff. I can usually hit the mechanics up at the Foundry for odd parts here and there, they can hook me up. If not, they can make it.
