I have a temporary bench set up in the dining room (much to the wife's discomfort). It's 8' long by 24" wide and we put it up due to me not being able to negotiate stairs any more. With a 7' bench you'll also have enough room to have a work vise. A couple pieces of plywood sitting on top of filing cabinet "legs" works fine-just be sure to anchor the plywood to the wall so it don't move.

ok my bench is built and got the press bolted down i messed up and made it a little taller than i wanted to so ive got to get a taller chair or stand up to load but other than that its working great loaded up 200 44mag bullets today and went out and tryed out 50 of them i think ive found my fun load speer jacketed swc and 14g of hs6 and lg pistol primers recoil was on the lighter side and not half as loud as the factory stuff ive been shooting and seems to be pretty clean to but my hunting loads are going to be loaded with h110 and 310gr cast bullet with gascheck but i had the hs6 so i decided to give it a try and it seems ok no pressure signs at all
