What is the 2nd amendment that is the question we must ask are self. For us to answer this question we must first learn the history of or government and the governments of other country's such as England and Spain. When America was first colonized by Spain in the south and England in the north guns were only permitted for use only bye soldiers loyal to the monarchy's of Spain and England. This was issued to prevent the poor and downtrodden people from revolting from the monarchy. The idea of arms prevention cam from the Dark Ages after the forum of government we call Feudalism "witch the land is run by the riches people who can hire the most armed men to keep there land and laws in order." Kings at this time had to for bay the use of swords and armor from there subjects to prevent uprising. The monarchy's never stopped this practice
Now on to early America be four the revolutionary war people got away with owning guns for good reason. Hunting for food there was no 7/11 and none of the other country s wanted to prevent us from going about our business so as long as we payed are taxes.
Threw the French and Indian wars American colonialist were fighting the French and Indians with the British using are hunting guns. This lead to the British control of America and with total control of the country came all the laws from old England. The British government did not take the hunting riffles away but they taxed the guns and that was one of many taxes that lead to the Boston tea party.
So fast forward two Philadelphia revolutionary war is over are founding fathers are righting the 2nd amendment why? Was it to protect are right to hunt no it was not. The real reason why are founding fathers put the 2nd amendment in was to control over powering governments the same type of government we revolted from in the first place. Its something even true conservatives are afraid to say case they don't wanna be label as a "extremist" but it is a fact that has to be explained and understood. Now i am not saying go out by a gun and revolt against America i don't think it will ever come down to that but that is why the 2nd amendment is there and we should understand that. ;D ;D ;D ;D let me know what you think
