Glad you found that pistol and it works well for you Bear. Some years back a friend of mine asked me to help him find a .45 ACP caliber pistol at the gunshop he frequented. While we were there I picked out a P-90 for him and he liked the way it felt and handled as well, so he purchased it and we drove back to his house.
We loaded the magazines he bought as extras and tested it out in his backyard, needless to say we were pleased with it. He fed it everything, Hollow Point, FMJ, etc. . Never a problem at all. He packs it with his CCW license, and feels very confident that it will, if the need comes to be that it will do its job without a hitch. I do like the P series Ruger pistols, but I guess I'm kind of a .45 ACP "junkie". Now if they made that in a 10mm, I think it would be a hit.

The P90 is a tank, I really like mine. The long trigger pull was odd at first, but not bad once you get used to it.

Yes I agree, they do have kind of a "creepy" trigger, no pun intended. It is not hard to get the feel of it and after a while it feels natural just like the trigger on an M-1911 series pistol.
