After a long search I finally found a Springfield trapdoor rifle that I really wanted. It's an M1873 with original sights. Rifle was was made in 1889 and is in excellent condition. Wood and metal are near perfect and the bore is mirror bright with sharp rifling. The breech locks up tight. It is missing the cleaning rod so if anyone has one or knows where I can get one for a good price let me know. It is unit marked in front of the breech with a "69 over A". I got this one for $500 off of Gunbroker. Here's the pics...

Tommy- I still say ya gotta get a better camera! You've got $500 for a rifle but can't afford a decent digital camera. What is the world coming to? Regards, Eric
