You are welcome. Franchi shotguns are not usually that cheap.

IMHO, I'd keep the .32 Win. Spl. and forget the .270 WSM. But that is just my opinion. .270 WSM is another "Fad" cartridge. Dakota Arms and Ammo was recently absorbed by Remington Arms. Those arms and ammo never hit it off I don't see the new "Wonder Mags" doing the same either. Most of the Short Mags or Super Short Mags are not MUCH better than the rounds we know as common from days of yore anyhow. .30-06. .25-06, 7x57, 6.5x55mm, .303 British, ETC. . Ultra Mag's, etc., in the North American Continent are NOT needed!!!! For the North American or African Continents the calibers are simple: .30-06, 7x57mm, .280 Rem., 7mm Rem. Magnum {Not WBY.}, .338 Win. Mag., .300 Win. Mag., .45-70, .45-110 / 120 / 140, .44 Mag., .308, 7mm-08. OK maybe a .375 Ruger or .416 Rigby in Africa. I remember around 1992 or 1993 Ross Seyfried formerly of Guns & Ammo magazine extoled the virtues of the Dakota line of this and that and it wasn't long after that it damn near became extinct! I personally see no need for the new "Fad" calibers when pretty much a .30-06 or a .280 / 7mm Express for Deer or Black Bears or Antelope won't do the trick. Either in Ackley Improved or left "as is". {Call Junior Samples at BR-549} LMAO!!!! Plenty flat shooting for deer, antelope or black bears and WILL put the meat on the table and has for many years before and will still continue to do the same. BUT!!!! It is a little keyword called: "PREFERENCE". AND the RIGHT factory or handload too. O.K. Bear, gunsmithing too. Forgive me if I left out any other popular calibers such as the .30-30 Win. or .260 Rem. {Which is a GROSS attempt to fix the not broken 6.5x55mm} or any others. The .264 Win. Mag. is still a good one too. Respectfully. Travis P.S., A GREAT wildcat round is the 6.5-06 made from .30-06 brass, NOT the .270 Win. brass!!!! Whether in Ackley Improved or "as is" will shine over the .25-06 hands down.

The rifle itself is WELL worth more than the asking price. The only thing concerning me is the availability of factory .32 win special ammo. You MAY have a devil of a time getting ammo for it.

Agreed Bear. Not a hard fix though. Neck up .30-30 Win. brass and there ya have it. Just make sure you don't mix up the ammo. .30-30 Win. and .32 Win. Spl. are VERY similar at first glance. Please make sure to use specially marked boxes to differ the two.
But then the availability of reloading components as of late, makes for a tough chore. I have seen people use {and I don't agree with} 7.92x57mm 125 gr. projectiles in .32 Win. Spl. . Why some may ask? Well it is simple. First of all the .32 Win. Spl. is REALLY .321" diameter and the 7.92mm is .323" and the older loads are .318". Some may say: "Well it is only 2000's inch, what's the big deal?". Well, overpressure is one reason and the fact that the .323" "slug" is too big to squeeze down that bore and will not only cause premature bore wear but eventually the gun could burst. And another reason is the 7.92mm 125 grainer is a POINTED bullet which is a HUGE NO-NO in the magazine tube commonly found on most lever guns. With the Winchester M-88 being an exception to the rule.
The magazine tube for those that don't know can be a good friend or your worst enemy. With blunt tipped or Hollow Points it is a great item, but with pointed bullets under recoil the pointed Soft Tipped bullets CAN detonate the primer and set off a chain reaction and severly injure or kill you and others around you. Enough of my rambling. Sorry to "bore" {no pun intended} all of you. ;D

the 32ws is a fairly common deer round up here and the gun shops do carry factory loads by fed ,rem, winchester all 170 gr flatpoints but he also has a few boxes of brass for the gun and 2 full boxes of ammo that go with it
