Black powder and cast bullets in a AK. smg.photobucket.com/albums/v169/Burner1/?action=view¤t=IM000679.flvWell it looks like the video is not imbeding. Try the link. Man Those guns are just unstoppable. Now the AR15/M16 is a fine platform but it is just not as dependable or unstoppable as the Klashnikov. We now have a proven survival round. 32g of FFFg under a 155g gas checked cast bullet. The gun? Romainian "G" series cuastom build by Burners Gun Werks LLC.

Awesome stuff there! I think the AK is a better platform than the AR in my opinion. You can pretty much feed it anything and it will take it. Hard to beat that weapon.

That was a great range day! I was the cuprit that loaded that ammo. Next we're trying that in an SKS to see how well it funtions. We'd love to try that in an AR but no one will loan us a poodle popper..lol.

I can't see an AR do that unless maybe it had the gas conversion kit, and then maybe not more than 1 or two rounds.

I'm half tempted to try this with a Garand but I don't want to break mine. Damn sensitive gas systems.
